Lyrics Butterfly Canvas

Supplies:
-Canvas (any size)
-Any color paint
-Small paint brush
-Hot glue
-Paint samples
-Scissors
-Sandpaper (optional)

Hey guys! This is my lyrics butterfly canvas. The canvas I used wasn't purchased. It used to be a ugly painting my parents owned. So after some priming I had a new blank canvas!
1. So first I found my favorite song, or just one I wanted to use and painted the lyrics on the canvas. I wish I would have been more neat on how I wrote it.

Song: And The World Turned by The Gabe Dixon Band

Hot glue is my number one for all my projects!

Paint samples? Yupp thats what these are! I walked through Lowes and litterly grabed every color!
2. Using a butterfly templet I found online I cut out as many as I could!
3. I first folded all the butterflies in half to give them a 3D look
4. Using hot glue I applied a thin line of hot glue on the fold, then placed it on the canvas.

This is the finish result! Since I had all the supplied already and the paint samples were free this costed me nothing!
Things you would have to buy:
-Canvas
-Small bottle of paint
-hot glue
-Paint brush

  1. I love it. I think you painted the lyrics perfectly. I prefer the messy look.
