Handpainted Otterbox IPhone 4 Case

This is my hand painted Otterbox Iphone 4 case! I've painted it over 4 more times after this and ill try to upload the latest one! but heres how I did if your wondering! If your not a painter that's fine! You could do so much more with this idea! For example splatter paint, maybe just poka dots? Anyways here you go!

First I started off with my ugly boyish                            Then, also bought at Walmart. I primed the whole
blue Otterbox that I bought at Walmart                          case. Make sure you don't do really heavy coats.
for $35.

Then with a pencil I sketched out what I wanted to paint.

This is the brand of paint I used to paint the case. I love this paint. Its like the super paint to me. It works on almost any surface. I bought these at Hobby Lobby for about $0.98 per bottle. I suggest painting all the colors first. Doing multiple coats. Once the colors have dried I then filled in the black outline.

Allow to dry again. Then to get the shiny professional look I sealed it with spray sealer. You can get this at any story that carries hardware and paint.

Then there you go! personalized and colorful!

  1. what brand of paint did you use. In your tutorial you only said "This is the brand of paint I used." What is the brand?
